Welcome to the UK Course Measurement website

The UKA requires courses to be measured according to IAAF procedures by a measurer who is accredited for measurement in the UK.

If you need a course measured, you should contact a local measurer and ask them if they are able to assist. Ideally this will be about 6 months before the race. They will take you through the process and often can advise on minor improvements. You will need to supply course distance and draft route map.

You will need to tell the measurer if your race organisation is affiliated to England Athletics, Scotland Athletics, Wales Athletics or the Association of Running Clubs.

The measurer will give you a fee estimate and propose dates when they can measure your course.
